2024 Annual Report

To Our Community Partners and Friends

No matter who you are, your life has been touched by a nonprofit organization.

Nonprofits help older adults thrive at home with meal delivery, home care, or home maintenance projects. Nonprofits are part of the village we turn to when we need help raising our children to be healthy and strong. These organizations make sure everyone can receive the health care services we need and deserve.

Simply put, nonprofits hold our community together.

Our annual report is a testament to that fact. Even in the face of unprecedented challenges, our grantee-partners are part of a comprehensive, collaborative network that meets the community’s needs without interruption.

In this report you’ll see stories of nonprofit organizations that are using ingenuity, compassion, and person-centered care to find solutions that include:

  • Helping young people avoid the risk of violence with a safe, welcoming place to go after school;
  • Using laughter, art, and music to improve the lives of caregivers of people with dementia;
  • Going above and beyond to incorporate trauma-informed practices;
  • And building community trust to help more people get health coverage.

And these are just a few examples.

Our outstanding network of nonprofit and community-based organizations—in western and central New York, and beyond—deserves support, resources, and recognition for the life-changing work they lead every day.

Nonprofits are there for us, and we’ll continue to be there for them.

Sincerely,
